The weather forecast for today was unpredictable, sun, with clouds and possible rain. We got all three today. We went for a 2.5 hour walk following the coast line and the agricultural area. It was very hot for the first hour and then cloudy and cool on the way back. In the evening there was a torrential downpour and the streets were like rivers. A taxi was needed to go to our favourite Happy Land restaurant. After dinner the rain stopped and the sidewalks were dry again.

These monuments are burial sights for the dead. Apparently the farm fields are used to bury the dead for a period of time for their body to decompose into the earth. Apparently, if the body does not fully decompose it is the responsibility of the oldest son to pick off the flesh. The bones are then cremated.
