Julie and I have been volunteering with the Harrison DragonFest for about five years, and we were in awe with the energy and determination of some teams. Especially those teams whose members have had significant challenges in their lives -- recovery from cancer treatment and/or organ transplant. Of particular interest to Julie and I is the team "Gift of Life". The team consists of members who have had an organ transplant, but also an organ donor...how cool is that! And three of the members are from BCIT.
