Hard to believe this is a national holiday. A few stores were closed but the markets were very busy. We only saw one temple/building decorated for the kings birtday.
We were slow getting started today and enjoyed a late breakfast, and by noon we decided to visit a recommended temple, Rong Suea Ten. Many of the temples are in remote areas and therefore they are not always easy to find. This temple was within a 45 minute walk from our hotel, and what a contrast from other temples we've seen. The Rong Suea Ten Temple is a striking blue and gold and what a fluke, today Julie wore a blue top and I was wearing a gold top.
