The trek today was very pleasant. Great weather and enough rest stops. We discovered one cafe that baked its own bread and we enjoyed a melted ham and cheese. At the cafe we met Sten and Kerstin who we last saw 3 days prior. We trekked through forests and vineyards, where we enjoyed the grapes along the way. Mealhada is a busy town with a rail line and truck traffic, but no historical monuments. Not a tourist attraction.
