Oct 4, Navia 20km

The morning started with a coffee and creamy pastry. Our breakfast is usually fruit and yogurt, followed by coffee at the nearest cafe on the Camino. This morning the pastries were irresistible. There were other peregrinos in the cafe and a group of 5 came back to the cafe because they couldn't find the way out of town. We met another couple who had ventured off in the wrong direction and we met them as they returned to the trail. Today's trek was fairly easy. There was a light rain in the early morning which made some sections very muddy. Navia is a small harbour town, with beaches nearby. It was not busy, but I'm sure there are many tourists during the summer months.

A view of Luarca as we exit the town.

We met this little guy along the trek.

No question about the direction.
This must be the handy work of Nina (from Slovakia), who we met yesterday. She had these shells with her at the time.
Many pine trees on today's trek. Due to the overcast, the ocean in the background was not visible.
