Oct 5, Tapia de Casariego 21km

This morning we didn't need to look for a cafe. Our hotel offered free and freshly brewed coffee. Off by 8:30am and the first stage of the trek was up hill. The way today followed country roads and trails that joined villages.

We had great memories of Tapia. Its such a beautiful town and our hotel room has an ocean view. Its such a great experience following the coast. The views are awesome.

Apparently corn was brought into this region from Florida when the Spaniards came to N. America. Her the cats find the corn a great hiding place.

A different Camino marker in this province.

This cat wanted attention while we are enjoying a drink. The Spaniards don't make a fuss over pets, so this cat was enjoying our attention.

Arriving to Tapia
