Sept 13 Thursday, Golinhac 16km

Another day of hard ascents and descents. And no cafe rest stops along the route. To avoid rocky descents we took a detour about 3km from Golinhac. We flagged down a local in his car to ensure we were on the correct route.

An elderly farm couple had the most beautiful flower garden.

Another farmer with his rabbits on display to the trekkers.

This was our Gite dinner group. I was too occupied with eating to take pictures of the food, which was delicious - all home made, soup, salad, potatoes, beef, cheeses(cow, goat and sheep) and wild berry pie.
The lady in blue is the host, the other ladies from the Paris region, the man next to lady from Belgium and the man in black from Mauritius, a small island country next to Madagascar, previously occupied by France.

These beautiful horses were next to our Gite.

They loved to be touched. Even the baby was not shy.
