Today's trek was a rather boring. The terrain (farm lands) was the same for 20km. The excitement was arriving at the Somo ferry terminal and meeting other peregrinos. And Santander is a very beautiful city, worth staying a few days, but we must move on since we have accommodations booked for tomorrow. We noticed many peregrinos are not booking their rooms in advance, which can be problematic. For example, one women found many of the cheaper Santander hotels were full and had to travel further out of town. We book two days in advance, and therefore can take our time arriving.
